A warm and comforting vegan chai tea latte made with plant-based milk and aromatic spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 3 cloves
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp black peppercorns
  • 12 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the black tea bag, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, ginger, and black peppercorns.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  4. Add almond milk and maple syrup (if using). Stir well.
  5. Simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Strain into a mug and serve hot.
