- 1 black tea bag
- 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cardamom pods
- 3 cloves
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger, sliced
- 1/4 tsp black peppercorns
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
- Heat water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the black tea bag, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, ginger, and black peppercorns.
- Simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Add almond milk and maple syrup (if using). Stir well.
- Simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
- Strain into a mug and serve hot.
