  • 2 celery stalks, chopped

  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add carrots and celery. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Stir in turmeric, ginger, black pepper, and bay leaf.
  7. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove bay leaf and season with salt.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
