Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in chocolate hazelnut spread.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  7. Fold in chopped hazelnuts.
  8. Scoop dough into balls and place on baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

  • For extra richness, drizzle melted chocolate on top.
