A creamy shrimp Alfredo pasta dish perfect for a romantic Valentine’s dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
